Affordable housing is scarce in Jackson Hole, where only three percent of the land can be developed and nearby resorts drive a high cost of living. Therefore, when Jackson Hole Community Housing Trust entrusted John’s team to design eight economical, deed-restricted townhomes, the project was embraced as an important and welcomed challenge. The resulting design successfully complemented the existing neighborhood and inventively used materials to minimize construction costs while maximizing living efficiencies. Each home is also Energy Star certified, ensuring utility bills, like the rent, will remain low. Upon reveal, every unit sold on opening day.
