This sculptural skyscraper honors Denver’s unique place as the gateway to the American West. The original direction for the project included a 65-story spire that rose from a three-story podium and gradually eroded to allow for balconies on the upper half of the building. Economic realities forced a redesign that shortened it to 42 stories but maintained the sculptural erosion and generous balconies that take advantage of mountain and city views. The program, which includes a 230-room hotel and 102 condominiums, was novel for the area at the time and reflects Denver’s growth into a world-class city.
"I think it’s one of the finest hotels in the entire Four Seasons portfolio. I’m delighted with the way it helped energize the Arts District."
—Izzy Sharp, Retired Four Seasons CEO
