Intelligentsia, a beloved Chicago-area coffee shop, sought a new look for its flagship store. The team wanted to update the space to better reflect and embrace the community that had supported them over 22 years of business. Therefore, the coffee bar was redesigned to provide twice as much seating, and the rest of the café was carefully planned to encourage more relaxation and conversation. The refined color and material palette also add to a renewed sense of calm while ensuring the place keeps its cool allure.
